Victoria participated in the 2011 Eiteljorg Museum Native American Arts Festival in Inianapolis, Indiana and submitted three items for the juried art competition. Much to her great surprise she won not only the 1st Place Award in the Contemporary Pottery Category with a large vase entitled "Spiro Fan" but that same piece also won the Best of Division Award for the Pottery Division. Victoria recieved an Honorable Mention Award at the 2011 Heard Museum and Guild Indian Art Market in Phoenix, Arizona for a painting entitled "Little People Sentry." She was competing with some of the best known Native American painters in the country and an Honorable Mention is quite an achievement.
Victoria was also featured in an article on the Heard Museum Art Market in the March, 2011 edition of the "Western Art Collectors" magazine as well as being the Cover Artist for the 2012 Cherokee Heritage Calendar.
And as we mentioned above, Victoria also recieved a 1st Place and Best of Division Award at the 2011 Eiteljorg Museum Native American Art Festival in the Pottery Division for her vase "Spiro Fan." .
